“Her voice is like an abundance of fresh roses. The listener, breathing in its fragrance, can’t escape the sumptuousness. Wrap that up with her glamour, her drop-dead gowns, her girl-next-door demeanor, and you’ve got the ideal diva package…”

San Jose Mercury News

It’s a voice, rich, full and lustrous, that has brought audiences to their feet in great opera and recital halls the world around. But Renée Fleming’s is a voice beloved by millions beyond the stages of opera. Called “the people’s diva,” she sang the National Anthem at Super Bowl XLVIII before the largest audience in American television history, and has dropped in to sing and spoof on Sesame Street and the Late Show with David Letterman. Hear this extraordinary artist perform classical favorites by Rachmaninoff, Strauss, Schumann, and more. Van Cliburn Competition medal-winning Olga Kern is a magnetic performer with one of the most prodigious piano techniques of any young pianist. "An absolute whiz at the piano", Kern will accompany Renée in what is sure to be a rare and special evening (The New York Times).
