Tickets for individuals with disabilities may be purchased, subject to availability, by calling the Scope Arena Box Office at (757) 664-6980, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 10:00 am and 5:30 pm.  Disabled seating is reserved for the exclusive use of individuals with disabilities and their guests and the purchase or use of these seating locations by non-disabled individuals is strictly prohibited and can result in ejection and/or forfeiture of ticket price.

 

If the individual with a disability cannot attend an event for which he/she has purchased tickets, call the Disabled Services Department prior to the event taking place for further instructions. 

 

Interpreted Performances: We are pleased to provide signed performances for the deaf and hard of hearing for select events. Services are not guaranteed for every event; however, we will make every effort to accommodate each request with appropriate advance notice. Please phone the box office at (757) 664-6980 for additional information.  Assisted hearing devices are also available for select performances with advanced notice. Please contact the Scope box office for additional information.

 

Open Captioning for the 2013-2014 Broadway Season
An electronic text display to the side of the stage shows what the actors are saying or singing and describes sound effects on stage. (Interpreters are also provided for these select performances.)

Wheelchair Escorts: Patrons with mobility impairments who do not have access to a wheelchair may request a wheelchair to transport the individual to their seat, free of charge. Please be aware that our personnel will not remain with you during the event, nor will they allow you to remain in the wheelchair for the duration of the event. Transport is not available from outside SevenVenues property.

 

Service Animals: Service animals or service animals in training are welcome.  If you require space for your animal please contact the ticket office at 757.664.6464. 

 

Disabled patron parking and drop off is available in front of the Box Office in the Scope Garage (entrance on St. Paul’s Boulevard).
