Celtic Woman Celebration - The 15th Anniversary Tour
The Harmony - The History - The Hits
Celtic Woman is thrilled to be celebrating 15 phenomenal years of music-making this year. We are honoured to be recognised as the most successful all-female group in Irish history. Our legacy of 12 consecutive Billboard number ones, 10 million album sales, a coveted Grammy nomination and an incredible 1 billion online streams is a testament to all the singers and musicians who pour their heart and soul into Celtic Woman. To mark this achievement and to thank our fantastic fans, we bring you Celebration–The Tour. Celebration brings together our very favourite songs from the journey so far – songs that have created an incredible bond with audiences all over the world. From the siren call of Orinoco Flow to the playful energy of Teir Abhaile Riu, we invite you to come dance with us in Ireland. Rejoice through the lilt of the fiddle and the beat of the drum. Experience the power of the uplifting anthems You Raise Me Up and the soaring harmonies of Danny Boy. We challenge you to hear our bagpiper lead us in Amazing Grace without shedding a tear. Come and celebrate life itself – feel the embrace of breath-taking music that transports you from your theatre seat straight to Ireland, our spiritual homeland. The Irish really know how to throw a party–so join us! It’s time to raise a toast in The Parting Glass. Our fully staged Celebration tour features our stunning band, two pipers, two drummers, traditional step-dancers, backing vocalists, and of course our four fantastic Celtic Woman soloists –Tara McNeill on fiddle and Irish harp, weaving her magic around the spine-tingling voices of Mairéad Carlin, Megan Walsh and past Celtic Woman, Susan McFadden, who joins us for the 15th anniversary as a special guest. Feel the drama of the songs and stories come vividly to life as they swirl around the stage, catching the light in their sumptuous costumes. Let the festivities begin!
