“Brilliant…lush trombone tone, and astonishing technique.”
-The New York Times
This virtuoso trombonist comes from a jazz dynasty: brother of guitarist Kevin Eubanks and trumpeter Duane Eubanks, nephew of jazz pianist Ray Bryant and bassist Tommy Bryant, and son of famed pianist Vera Eubanks, who was Kenny Barron’s first piano teacher. Robin’s signature sound and adventurous soul have landed him on stage and recording with icons like Art Blakey and the Jazz Messengers, Sun Ra, and Stevie Wonder. His performances at clubs, festivals, and concert halls, along with television appearances, have drawn praise like this from AllAboutJazz.com: Robin Eubanks creates “exhilarating…intricately crafted music that… brims with energetic spontaneity. Eubanks' buttery horn with its blustery growl…intelligently embellishes the melody.” Catch this master player at the Attucks Jazz Club!
