Event Details
Colleen Ballinger is a multihyphenate: actor, comedian, trained vocalist, writer, and executive producer. Best known for her portrayal of the quirky and misguided Miranda Sings, Ballinger has amassed over 20 million followers across social media and surpassed 2 billion views on YouTube. She can currently be seen starring as Miranda on the newly released second season of her Netflix Original series, HATERS BACK OFF, as well as headlining the worldwide live tour, “Miranda Sings Live...You’re Welcome.”
Colleen’s Miranda—known for her overdrawn red lips, questionable advice, deluded self-confidence, and over-the-top rants—was first imagined in 2008; the character is a parody of those young, self-absorbed singers (with far more confidence—and vibrato—than talent) who flock to YouTube seeking stardom. Colleen’s Miranda hit the mainstream when Ballinger appeared on Jerry Seinfeld’s Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, and, subsequently, The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.
Ballinger is also the co-author of the New York Times #1 Bestselling Selp Helf, alongside her brother/producing partner, Chris Ballinger. She regularly appears on Live with Kelly & Ryan and has served as a guest co-host on The View. She currently resides in Los Angeles with her Instagram-famous cats, Prissy Gus Gus and Daisy Mae.
