Eaglefest 2015
Featuring Jake Owen

With Special Guests PARMALEE & JANA KRAMER

Produced by SevenVenues and 97.3 The Eagle

SevenVenues and Max Media's 97.3 The Eagle are thrilled to announce EAGLEFEST 2015 featuring country music sensation JAKE OWEN, with special guests PARMALEE and JANA KRAMER!

“We are very excited to announce Eaglefest 2015. We have worked very hard to bring some of country music’s most talented artists to Scope Arena to perform for the loyal and dedicated country music fans in the area,” said Rob Henson, Assistant Director of SevenVenues. Dave Paulus, Vice President/General Manager of Max Media of Hampton Roads, said, "This will be our first time hosting what we plan to be an annual country music extravaganza here at Scope Arena. We are looking forward to an extremely successful event!"

JAKE OWEN has ascended to stardom with five #1 smashes - the 2X PLATINUM anthem “Barefoot Blue Jean Night,” PLATINUM-certified hits “Beachin’,” “Anywhere with You” and “Alone with You” along with the nearly PLATINUM “The One That Got Away.” Known for his thrilling performances and laid-back style of country, Owen showcases a much different side on his emotionally charged Top 15 hit “What We Ain’t Got.” Fans, music critics and radio alike are embracing the talented singer’s fresh sound. Produced by Joey Moi, his latest album Days of Gold (RCA Nashville) is the follow up to the GOLD-certified, chart-topping Barefoot Blue Jean Night, which has sold well over 5 million tracks to date. The dapper singer was tapped to host the annual ACM Honors event in 2014, which celebrates special honorees and winners from the ACM Awards. Previously taking home ACA and ACM Awards, the Vero Beach, FL, native has earned Grammy and Teen Choice Awards nominations. Just off the road from his major nationwide headline Days of Gold Tour 2014, Owen is bringing his signature show to Kenny Chesney’s 2015 The Big Revival Tour.

PARMALEE is a Southern country-rock band consisting of brothers Matt Thomas (guitar, vocals) and Scott Thomas (drums), cousin Barry Knox (bass), and childhood friend Josh McSwain (guitar, keyboards), all of whom grew up together near Greenville, North Carolina. The band’s first gig was held at Corrigans, a bar near East Carolina University where the guys went to school. The band developed a devout regional following but eventually made their way to Nashville where they began writing new material and networking. After much hard work, dedication and perseverance an EP, Daylight, was released in 2002, followed by the full-length album, Inside, in 2004 and an EP, Complicated, in 2008. The band signed with Stoney Creek Records and released their next album, Feels Like Carolina, at the end of 2013. The album has earned critical praise from People, The New York Times, USA Today and Newsday. Parmalee was named a “Bubbling Under Artist” by Billboard magazine (2013) and one of Clear Channel’s NEW! Artists to Watch in 2013. The same year, Parmalee performed as part of MTV’s 2013 O Music Awards and appeared on the 4th Annual American Country Awards. A 2014 semi-finalist for the Academy of Country Music’s New Artist of the Year award, Parmalee joined country superstar, Jake Owen, on select dates of the Days Of Gold Tour 2014.

Singer, songwriter and actress JANA KRAMER boasts an impressive list of television and movie roles and her most recent break into the country music industry has proven to be just as successful. Best known for her role as actress Alex Dupre on The CW’s “One Tree Hill”, Kramer successfully released four songs to the public over the course of two seasons on the show and ultimately signed to Warner Music Nashville. Her debut single "Why Ya Wanna" sold over 1.4 million digital downloads and in 2012, Kramer released her self-titled debut album, Jana Kramer, which she recorded with multiple award-winning producer Scott Hendricks (Brooks & Dunn, Alan Jackson, Blake Shelton). In July 2013, the rising country star opened for Blake Shelton on his Ten Times Crazier Tour, in Virginia Beach, VA. And earlier this year, Kramer released her latest single "I Got the Boy.”
