Terell Stafford New Expanded Attucks Jazz Club Series!
Trumpet star Terrell Stafford, whom jazz legend McCoy Tyner has called "one of the great players of our time" will be our second performer in the Attucks Jazz Club Series. New York Times critic Nate Chinen has noted that Stafford's blazing solos incorporate "glints of Clifford Brown, Lee Morgan, Freddie Hubbard," and other giants of the instrument, but that Stafford has "alchemized" those influences to create a genuine style of his own.
