If an event cancels or postpones, SevenVenues will communicate those changes to customers directly by e-mail, social media and on this page. If you do not see your event listed, please be patient and check back regularly as SevenVenues continues to sort out details with individual tours.

  • If an event is canceled or postponed, ticket holders should contact their original point of purchase for refund instructions.
  • For tickets purchased at Ticketmaster.com, refunds will be processed automatically if the event is canceled. If an event is rescheduled, and the ticket holder is unable to attend the rescheduled date, they must contact Ticketmaster.com.

An Evening with David Sedaris - NEW DATE

In light of ongoing public health concerns, the upcoming David Sedaris engagement originally scheduled for April 14 at the Harrison Opera House has been postponed to Monday, October 5. David Sedaris boasts more than 12 million books in print including best-sellers Naked, Me Talk Pretty One Day and Dress Your Family in Corduroy and Denim. Calypso, a collection of 21 semi-autobiographical essays, is his most recent work. Sedaris will read all new stories live, answer questions from the audience and sign books before and after the show.

 

Baby Shark Live - CANCELED

The performance of Baby Shark Live! at Chrysler Hall, originally scheduled for May 17, 2020 and then postponed, has been canceled.

Virginia Arts Festival continues to work in the best interest of patrons, artists, staff, and volunteers. Due to the ongoing threat of COVID-19, the [email protected] performances have been rescheduled for the second time. The upcoming engagement of Beethoven’s Emperor Concerto and Symphony No. 5, originally rescheduled for August 29, has been rescheduled for Saturday, January 9, 2021 at 8pm.

The Black Jacket Symphony show originally scheduled for May 1 at the Harrison Opera House has been rescheduled for September 11, 2020. Please hold on to your tickets as they will be honored at the rescheduled show.

If you are unable to attend the new date, refunds are available at the point of purchase beginning on May 20, 2020 at 12pm through June 20, 2020 at 10pm. Refunds will no longer be available after 10pm on June 20, 2020.

The Black Violin show scheduled for March 29 at Chrysler Hall has been rescheduled to Friday, August 21, 2020. Please hold on to your tickets as they will be honored at the rescheduled show.

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory - NEW DATE

The upcoming engagement of Roald Dahl’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, originally scheduled for March 31 – April 5 at Chrysler Hall, has been rescheduled to December 29, 2020 – January 3, 2021 due to the recent governmental advisories restricting congregations of people to fewer than 10 people. The safety and health of our audiences is our highest priority and we encourage everyone to follow the guidelines put forth by public health officials.

 

The tickets you already purchased will be valid for the new date. All current ticket holders' seats will be transferred into the corresponding performances, and all ticket prices will remain the same. No further action is required.

OFFICIAL VIRGINIA ARTS FESTIVAL STATEMENT: The Virginia Arts Festival’s top priority is the health and safety of all our patrons, artists, volunteers, and staff.  In conformance with Governor Ralph Northam’s statewide ban on events over 100 people made on March 15, 2020, and due to the increasing threat of COVID-19, all public performances and education events scheduled through May 4 will be postponed or canceled effective Tuesday, March 17, 2020.

Due to the current global health crisis as well as travel and performance restrictions, the August 13, 2020 show of truTV Impractical Jokers “The Scoopski Potatoes Tour” Starring The Tenderloins at Scope Arena has been rescheduled for May 2, 2021 with showtime at 5:00pm. This very difficult decision was made following the recommendations of government authorities including the Center for Disease Control to reduce the spread of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

However, as gatherings have become increasingly complicated, we are sad to announce that we will no longer be producing Live from Here. As the on-going developments regarding the COVID-19 in North America continue and precautionary measures ensue to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, the ECHL has canceled the 2019-20 Season for the safety of our Fans, Players, and Employees.

Norfolk Tides - SEASON CANCELED

Major League Baseball has informed Minor League Baseball that it will not be providing its affiliated Minor League teams with players for the 2020 season. As a result, there will not be a Minor League season this year.

Tides representatives will be reaching out to ticket holders and business partners regarding ticket packages and corporate sponsorships. An updated ticket policy will also be made available for fans who had already purchased single-game tickets for the 2020 season.

Due to the threat of COVID-19, large venue restrictions, and concern for patrons well being, the performance of Norman Brown at Harrison Opera House, originally scheduled for July 25, 2020, has been canceled.
