Garrison Keillor
The creator and host of NPR's A Prairie Home Companion, as well as best-selling author, Garrison Keillor has populated entire towns with his gentle imagination. Keillor has said that when he was growing up in a small town in Minnesota, he never imagined having such good material right there; he thought he would have to travel the world to discover his muse. He believes that "we are all born with a story we have an obligation to tell" and through A Prairie Home Companion and his writings, he has made Lake Wobegon everyone’s hometown. Keillor’s humor and humanity animates everything he touches and, for this special evening, those lucky enough to snag this popular ticket.
