Ricky Dillard is considered one of America's top choir directors and possibly the most flamboyant in style and personality! Dillard's solo albums, which merge gospel with dance, include such releases as 1991's Promise, 1993's A Holy Ghost Take Over, 1995's Hallelujah, 1996's Worked It Out, and 2000's No Limit.
Now in a new stage in his life, Ricky has started his own label, Animated Entertainment Inc. The first project from the label was by Ricky Dillard & New G entitled The 7th Episode: Live in Toronto which was nominated for FOUR Stellar Awards, while capturing two and a GMA DOVE Award nod. Dillard’s latest LP entitled Keep Living is thru a joint venture with the legendary Light Records and features the breakout Top 20 smash “God is Great”.
Dillard will be joined by special guests Patrick Riddick & D’vyne Worship, a 35 member choral aggregate and Virginia's Premiere Gospel Choir for almost ten years, as well as the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Choir. With Musical Direction from Professor Nathan Rooks, D’vyne Worship is led by its founder, Minister Patrick Riddick. Locally acclaimed as the former director of the Norfolk State University Gospel Choir, Riddick is best noted for his contributions to the Stellar Award winning project The 7th Episode: Live in Toronto with Ricky Dillard. He currently serves as a tenor in his choir, New Generation Chorale, in Chicago, Illinois.
