Elite Fighting Challenge 4
On June 27th at 7 p.m., the Elite Fighting Challenge 4 unleashes the very first Professional Mixed Martial Arts Event to The Norfolk Scope. Featuring 13 professional and amateur MMA bouts presented by Proximo Entertainment, EFC 4 brings together an exciting and skilled group of fighters from some of the best MMA fight teams across the country.
During this special Military Appreciation event, EFC 4 will showcase two main events featuring stars from The Ultimate Fighter, Season 8 and TapouT, Season 2- with a total of 13 explosive fights in one night. This promises to bring some of the most intense and highly anticipated MMA action the Tidewater area has ever seen!
The featured Professional Co-Main events of the evening matches Patrick Curran (8-1 Pro) versus Charles Diaz (17-4 Pro, King of the Cage Vet). Sharing top billing for the night is Staff Sergeant, Phillip “The Wicked” Wyman (6-2 Pro, WCA and WEC vet) battling the pride of Ohio, Marc “the Machine” Cofer (6-2)
Two other dynamic match-ups not to be missed are:
-Mackens Semerizer (8-0 amateur, 3-0 Pro) versus Larry Hughes (5-0 Amateur, 1-0 Pro)
-Levon Maynard (7-3, From Norfolk) versus George Sullivan (5-3, WCA Veteran)
Finally, don’t discount our amateur fights for one minute. At past EFC events, these match-ups have proven to be some of the most powerful and commanding of the whole night. These up-and-comers include fighters from the best teams in the Mid-Atlantic area, including Team R.A.M, Team Hybrid, Team ROC, Linxx Academy, MMA Institute, Gold Medal Grappling, and Odyssey MMA. We have recruited fighters that will be lighting up the MMA world in the future and given them the chance to fight in the "big show".
