Refreshments
Full-service bars are available for your convenience on the Lower and Grand Lobby levels. Champagne and wine is available at specially designated bars. Coffee and cappuccino are available in the Lower Lobby. A variety of snacks are available on the Lower and Grand Lobby levels.
Restrooms
Ample restrooms are located on all three lobby levels. Upon leaving the theater, on both the Lower and Grand Lobby levels, women's restrooms are to the right, and men's restrooms are to the left. On the third level, men's and women's restrooms are both located on either side of the lobby.
Public Telephones
Pay telephones are located in the Marble Lobby by the outer doors, and outside the men's restroom in the Grand Lobby (second level).
Elevators
Elevators serving all seating levels are located on either side of the theater.
Smoking
Harrison Opera House is a smoke-free environment. No smoking is allowed in any part of the building.
Parking
Ample, low-cost parking is available in the city-run parking lots at the Harrison Opera House. Some street parking is also available. PLEASE NOTE: The city of Norfolk now enforces the "No Parking" regulations on Llewellyn Avenue and other streets surrounding the Harrison Opera House where "No Parking" is posted. Chrysler Hall is not responsible for any parking tickets received by patrons. When visiting the Harrison Opera House, please allow ample time to park, and take care to obey all posted parking regulations.
Wheelchair Accessibility
The Harrison Opera House has been renovated in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act. Thirty wheelchair-accessible seats are available at each performance. Patrons requiring wheelchair-accessible seating must make advance reservations with the box office in order for us to provide proper accommodation before the wheelchair-accessible seating sells out. For information or assistance, please call the box office at (757) 664-6965 prior to performance, or see the house manager during performances.
Listening Assistive Devices
Infrared listening assistive devices may be used from any seat in the house, and are available from the usher staff at all performances. A driver's license or other form of identification will be required as security, and will be returned to the patron upon receipt of the infrared device at the end of the performance.
Late Arrivals
In consideration of others, latecomers will be seated at the discretion of the house manager. The theater opens one half-hour before curtain time. Please make every effort to arrive in ample time to be seated prior to curtain.
Electronic Devices
Cameras and recording equipment are strictly prohibited in the theater. Patrons with paging devices or cellular phones must set them on the vibrate mode. Patrons are also asked to turn off the beepers on their wristwatches prior to entering the theater.
Snacks and Beverages
No food or drinks are allowed inside the theater.
Children
The Harrison Opera House reserves the right to deny admission to children under the age of five. All children, regardless of age, must have a ticket to enter the theater.
