Box Office Information

SEASON TICKET EXCHANGES
Reserved seat season tickets may be exchanged for another performance within the same production.  Season ticketholders must notify the Box Office at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled performance in order to make a ticket exchange.  You may make exchanges by phone, mail, fax, email, or at the window.  Beginning this season, season ticket holders will receive one complimentary exchange per show. If additional exchanges within a show are required, an exchange fee of $1.00 per ticket, per exchange will apply. This fee will be payable at the time the new tickets are picked up. All upgrades are payable at the time tickets are rescheduled.  Original tickets must be returned to the Box Office in their original condition before the new tickets will be issued.  If you would like your new tickets mailed to you, please send a self addressed, stamped envelope to the VSC Box Office.  Otherwise, tickets will be held at the Box Office for you to pick up at will call.  Expired tickets cannot be exchanged.

ANYTIME PASSES
Anytime Passes are not tickets; they must be redeemed for tickets to VSCs
performances.  To redeem your Anytime Passes, simply contact our Box Office via phone, mail, fax, email, or at the window to arrange seating ahead of time.  You can also redeem your passes at the Box Office prior to the chosen performance. Your tickets will be issued when you present your redeemed Passes at the Box Office. Premium  Anytime Passes are redeemable for any series performance.  Regular Anytime Passes are also redeemable for any series performance, and are subject to a $10 per ticket upgrade charge if redeemed for Friday and Saturday 8:00 PM performances.  You will receive the best available seating at the time of your reservation.  Please note, Anytime Passes do not guarantee seats once a performance is sold out.  Additionally, once you have made your reservation, the Anytime Passes you used to make the reservation become void.  The Box Office will not release your tickets in the event you do not pick them up.  If, once you have redeemed your Anytime Passes, you find you are unable to attend on the scheduled date, you may change your performance date by following the procedure described in the Ticket Exchanges section of this handbook.  Anytime Passes are not valid for A Christmas Carol or The Reduced Shakespeare Company.  Anytime Passes that are not redeemed are nonrefundable and nontransferable.  All Passes expire April 23, 2006.

MISSED PERFORMANCES
While expired tickets cannot be exchanged, we may be able to accommodate you depending on ticket availability for the same show.  If you have missed your performance, contact the Box Office to check for possible seat availability on the date you'd like to make the show.  If we still have seats, present your expired tickets at the Box Office window no earlier than one hour prior to show time.  If we still have seats, present your expired tickets at the Box Office window no earlier than one hour prior to show time.  Seating will be based on availability at that time.  We are unable to make advance reservations for patrons utilizing the missed performance option.  Any upgrade or exchange charges which would have ordinarily been due will still apply.  This option is only available within the same production.

ADDITIONAL BENEFITS

Lost Ticket Insurance So, what if you lose your tickets?  No problem.  If your season tickets are lost or stolen, simply call our Box Office and we will be happy to hold your duplicate tickets for you to pick up at will call at your scheduled performance(s).

Family and Friends Discount Introduce your family and friends to great theater!  Season ticket holders receive a $5 discount off every additional adult ticket purchased.  Many productions are in high demand and ticket availability may be limited, so order early to secure seats now.

Donation of Unused Tickets If you are unable to use your tickets, you may return them to the Box Office prior to the scheduled show time, and receive a tax credit receipt for the full value of the tickets.
Diner's Discounts The Virginia Stage Company Diner's Discount Card provides special offers to several of Downtown Norfolk's wonderful dining establishments.  These offers may not be combined with any other offer and are not applicable to tax, gratuity or alcoholic beverages.  Each ticket holder must present his  or her Diner's Discount Card and tickets or ticket stubs to their server before ordering.  The Diner's Discount Card may only be used on the day you are attending your show.  Participating restaurants recommend reservations where accepted. Amount of discount varies.  Please see your Diners Discount card for more information. 

Parking For your convenience, VSC offers valet parking in front of the Rotunda entrance on Tazewell Street beginning one hour prior to show times.  The cost is $5.00.  Public parking is also conveniently located in MacArthur Center garages.

Accessibility
The Wells Theatre is wheelchair accessible.  Please ask the Box Office for platform seating in the orchestra section.  The Wells Theatre is equipped with infrared sound enhancement which allows patrons with up to 70% hearing loss to hear stage dialogue from any seat.  Virginia Stage Company provides a sign language interpreted performance in American Sign Language and is available for each production.  The       second Saturday performance at 8:00PM is the designated signed performance.

SINGLE TICKET BUYER INFORMATION
Tickets to all performances can be purchased at the VSC Box Office, located at the corner of Monticello Ave. and Tazewell St. in Downtown Norfolk.  The Ticketmaster convenience charges will not apply to tickets purchased at the VSC Box Office.

Refund/Exchange Policy
Once you have purchased your tickets to a Virginia Stage Company event, all sales are final. Before leaving the ticket window or hanging up the phone, please verify with the ticket agent the dates and times of the purchased performance. Once ticketed, there will be no refunds and/or exchanges.

Inclement Weather
In the event of inclement weather, Virginia Stage Company will only refund and/or exchange single tickets if the performance for the evening is cancelled.
