 lly migrated from the South to Chicago and in 1955 Slim made his first tri
 p to Chicago to play for Magic Sam\, a childhood friend. Slim eventually j
 oined forces with The Teardrops\, a dynamic trio consisting of Jon McDonal
 d - guitar/vocals\; Andre Howard - bass\; Brian Jones - drums and David Si
 ms - drums. Since then the band has been busy traveling throughout the wor
 ld. Their most recent release\, Raising The Bar\, has received immense rev
 iews and overwhelming recognition. Slim and The Teardrops performances hav
 e become legendary\, and they play the blues with an undeniable intensity
